LUBRICATE YOUR RESISTANCES

“We have to lubricate our resistances, when our resistances block us from achieving our goals.” DrV

Morning coffee helps me exercise.

Mid-day hummus helps me eat more vegetables.

A glass of wine at night reminds me to take antioxidants, magnesium and melatonin.

Find what works for you, and then work it so that you get what you want.

Just make sure that the facilitation/lubrication does not overpower the goal. Like I said above, “I refuse to eat plain celery, but I’m also not going to use a chemical bomb like ranch dressing or green goddess to ruin the benefit.”

Need coffee to exercise?—great, but don’t drink a 400-calorie coffee for a 200-calorie workout.

Dressing-up vegetables is great, but not with a chemical bomb of fake ranch dressing or green goddess from a Dow Jones chemical laboratory. You might be better off eating nothing, as is usually the case.

A glass of wine at night to down your melatonin and antioxidants is probably a great idea, but not if the glass becomes a bottle … and you end up doing drunk stunts like sending break-up texts to someone you’re not even dating, or someone that you wish you were already dating, messages that start with “hey I need to clear something up” to your your boss, or your parents, etc.

Find what works for you, and then work it so that you get what you want. Make sure that you keep it healthy. https://healthythinking.substack.com/p/health-homework-16-use-salsas-dressings #goalsetting #goalachievement #goals #health #nutrition #diet

For knowledge to be functional

For knowledge to be functional, that knowledge must be accessible. For that knowledge to be accessible, it should be organized. In order to organize useful ideas, I commonly use acronyms, which are abbreviations made from the first letter(s) of each word in a phrase, and commonly this abbreviation results in a easily remembered word or sound. Share How to repair social/interpersonal injury: For the 4 components of an adult reparation, I use the word “safety” written as “saf-T” or “sAf-TT” or “sAf-T”which represents the following:https://healthythinking.substack.com/p/health-homework-22-video-download #emotionalintelligence #emotionalhealth #emotionalwellbeing #conflictresolution #conflictmanagement
